Job Summary
Florida Licensed Paralegal Apprentice provides part-time support for Client Legal Services attorneys, preparing pleadings and motions while participating in a 12-24 month apprenticeship program that includes on-the-job training and tuition assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with identifying and summarizing relevant legal issues while updating the attorney
- Communicate with Claim Business Partners and Plaintiff Attorneys regarding case status
- Draft initial pleadings and prepare materials for trial, arbitration, or mediation
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an associate's degree from a community college or trade school
- Must reside in Florida, Michigan, Maryland, Georgia, Texas, or California
- Commitment to a 12-24 month apprenticeship program
- Ability to engage in hands-on training in customer service and claims processing
- Willingness to undergo a background investigation
