Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary Payroll Accountant to support its payroll accounting function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare payroll-related journal entries and record them in NetSuite
  • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline and resolve variances
  • Process biweekly Canadian payroll for two legal entities while ensuring compliance
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in payroll accounting
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite and/or Blackline or similar ERP systems
  • Solid understanding of payroll compliance, including US and Canadian regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • CPA or CPP designation is a plus
