Job Summary

To support critical public health programs, the part-time Florida Licensed Perinatal Social Worker will evaluate maternal healthcare delivery, analyze social determinants of health, and develop interview protocols while working remotely for up to 20 hours per week.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive quarterly evaluations of maternal mortality cases to identify systemic biases and assess social determinants of health
  • Collaborate with team members to translate clinical findings into structured case narratives for leadership reviews
  • Design and deploy a training curriculum for Records Analysts on conducting sensitive informant interviews
Required qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) currently licensed in Florida
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in obstetrics, antenatal, or postpartum care
  • Deep knowledge of the Social Determinants of Health and their impact on maternal outcomes
  • Proven background in family support, peer counseling, and community outreach
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency with remote collaboration tools and clinical data entry systems
