Job Summary
To provide compassionate end-of-life care, the full-time Florida Licensed Pet Hospice Veterinarian will perform in-home hospice and euthanasia services for pet families across Tampa and surrounding areas, working independently in a mobile environment without the constraints of a non-compete agreement.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct in-home hospice and euthanasia appointments with a focus on compassionate care
- Manage a mobile veterinary practice, ensuring high-quality service in various locations
- Engage in professional communication with pet families and team members
Required qualifications
- DVM/VMD/BVMS degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid driver's license and ability to work independently
- Weekend availability on a rotational basis
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
- Demonstrated compassion, dignity, and respect in all interactions
