Job Summary

A company is looking for a Physician Billing Coder I to review and assign diagnoses and procedures for accurate billing in the Emergency Medicine department.

Key Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation and code accurately for charge capture
• Assign and sequence appropriate codes for insurance billing compliance
• Communicate with billing coordinators and maintain compliance with coding guidelines

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of medical billing experience preferred
• 3 years of extensive experience in physician coding preferred
• High School Diploma required
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required
