Job Summary

To support outpatient surgery services, the part-time Florida Licensed Practical Nurse will provide individualized patient care, including evaluation, education, medication administration, and IV therapy, while collaborating with the healthcare team in a clinical setting.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrates advanced practical nursing skills and communicates patient information to the healthcare team
• Assists RNs or providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient safety and care
• Maintains compliance with hospital policies and participates in nursing performance improvement activities

Required qualifications

• Nursing School Graduate
• Current nursing license in the State of Florida, renewed every two years
• Successful completion of a 30-hour approved IV therapy course within 30 days of hire for inpatient/SNF only
• Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification
• No prior experience required
