Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and provide individual psychotherapy remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose psychiatric disorders and conduct individual psychotherapy for patients across the lifespan
• Prescribe psychotropic medications and monitor patients' medication usage and side effects
• Document patient care and maintain compliance with HIPAA and national standards of care

Required qualifications

• 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
• Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
• Experience in Addiction and Mental Health treatment
• Ability to work with patients across the lifespan (ages 13 years and older)
• Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning
