Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy and medication management in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose psychiatric disorders and conduct individual psychotherapy for patients across the lifespan
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, educating patients on risks and benefits
• Document patient histories, treatment plans, and outcomes while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulations

Required qualifications

• 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
• Current Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
• Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
• Comfortable working with patients aged 13 years and older
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and timely documentation in EHRs
