Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support individuals with significant intellectual and developmental disabilities, the part-time Independent Contractor Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will complete psychiatric evaluations, collaborate with physicians for patient care, and manage medication remotely from Florida.

Key responsibilities

• Completing psychiatric evaluations and monitoring patient progress
• Collaborating with physicians to provide diagnostic and intervention patient care
• Participating in physician peer review and relevant meetings

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree required
• Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner (PMHNP) in Florida required
• Active Medicaid provider number and authorization to provide psychiatric services
• Two years of psychiatric experience required
• Two years of experience working with children and adolescents preferred
