Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide individual psychotherapy, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose psychiatric disorders, providing care to adolescent and adult patients
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate treatment plans, including prescribing medications
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulations

Required qualifications

• 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
• Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
• Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
• Ability to work with patients across the lifespan (ages 13 and up)
• Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and/or substance abuse dual-diagnoses
