Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and provide individual psychotherapy while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients' mental and physical status, diagnose psychiatric disorders, and conduct individual psychotherapy
• Prescribe psychotropic medications and monitor patients' medication usage and side effects
• Document medical histories, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with HIPAA and national standards of care

Required qualifications

• 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
• Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
• Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
• Ability to work with patients across the lifespan (ages 13+)
• Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and/or substance abuse dual-diagnoses
