Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

Providing comprehensive mental health care, the full-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients, diagnose psychiatric disorders, conduct psychotherapy, prescribe medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose mental health conditions, providing individualized treatment plans for patients across the lifespan
• Conduct individual psychotherapy and prescribe psychotropic medications while monitoring patient progress and medication effects
• Document patient histories, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with HIPAA and national standards of care

Required qualifications

• 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
• Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
• Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
• Comfortable working with patients aged 13 years and older
• Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning
