Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing mental health practice, the full-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy and medication management in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Diagnose psychiatric disorders and conduct individual psychotherapy for patients across the lifespan
• Order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and monitor patients' treatment responses and medication side effects
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and state regulations

Required qualifications:

• 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
• Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
• Experience in Addiction and Mental Health treatment
• Ability to work with patients aged 13 years and older, including those with severe mental illness
• Familiarity with EHRs and telehealth technologies
