Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
To support a growing mental health practice, the part-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct remote psychiatry assessments, prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, and integrate brief psychotherapy to help clients achieve their goals.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct 60-minute psychiatry assessments and 30-minute follow-up sessions remotely
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with regulations
- Collaborate with physicians and therapists to develop integrated care plans
Required qualifications
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Licensed to practice in Florida as a PMHNP
- 2+ years of experience providing mental health services as a PMHNP
- Active DEA license in Florida
- Experience in delivering remote telepsychiatry services
