Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
To support a growing telehealth practice, the part-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct psychiatric evaluations, establish care plans, and supervise peer support specialists while managing their own schedule as an independent contractor.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct initiating visits via telehealth for patients entering PIN-PS programs, establishing diagnoses and plans of care
- Document visits in the EHR within 48 hours to ensure billing standards are met
- Provide general supervision of certified peer support specialists delivering navigation services
Required qualifications
- Active, unrestricted APRN/NP licensure in Florida or other specified states
- National board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Ability to meet any state-specific collaboration or supervision requirements
- Active NPI and eligibility to enroll with Medicare and Medicaid
- Comfort with telehealth care for adults with serious behavioral health conditions
