Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and provide individual psychotherapy, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose psychiatric disorders and conduct individual psychotherapy for patients across the lifespan
- Order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and monitor patients' treatment responses and medication side effects
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulations
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Ability to work with patients across the lifespan, including those with severe mental illness
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning
