Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy and medication management in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose psychiatric disorders and conduct individual psychotherapy for patients across the lifespan
- Order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and monitor patients' medication usage and side effects
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) while adhering to compliance standards
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in addiction and mental health treatment
- Comfortable working with patients aged 13 years and older
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning
