Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess and diagnose patients' mental health conditions, conduct individual psychotherapy, and prescribe medications while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patients' mental and physical health, diagnose psychiatric disorders, and develop treatment plans
- Conduct individual psychotherapy and monitor patients' medication usage and side effects
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulations
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in addiction and mental health treatment
- Ability to work with patients across the lifespan, ages 13 and older
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning
