Job Summary
Providing comprehensive mental health care, the full-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess and diagnose patients, conduct psychotherapy, prescribe medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patients' mental and physical health, diagnose psychiatric disorders, and conduct individual psychotherapy
- Prescribe psychotropic medications and monitor patients' medication usage and side effects
- Document patient histories, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with HIPAA and national standards
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Comfortable working with patients across the lifespan (ages 13+)
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and dual-diagnoses related to substance abuse
