Job Summary
Passionate about women's health, the full-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide holistic patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team, performing comprehensive assessments, prescribing medications, and monitoring patient progress remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to determine treatment and care needs
- Prescribe psychotropic medications and monitor health status and treatment efficacy
- Provide patient education and collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed
Required qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited nursing program
- Unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license with the Florida Board of Nursing
- Prescriptive authorization and DEA license
- Broad clinical experience, with a preference for women's health and perinatal experience
- Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary care team is preferred
