Job Summary
Leading the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects, the full-time Florida Licensed Renewables Project Leader will manage complex billion-dollar portfolios through the development lifecycle, overseeing a team of Project Development Managers in a fully remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Lead greenfield utility-scale renewable development projects, creating development and project de-risking strategies
- Oversee the progression of development assets from site origination to project NTP, ensuring compliance with permitting and interconnection processes
- Act as the primary commercial negotiator for Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and related agreements
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy, including wind, solar PV, and energy storage
- Demonstrated team management and project management leadership experience
- Proven track record in developing project de-risking strategies and managing multiple projects from greenfield to NTP/COD
- Experience with various agreement types, including site lease agreements and interconnection agreements
- Hands-on experience with real estate/land transactions and contracts related to renewable projects
