Job Summary
To support the College of Public Health and Health Professions, the full-time salaried Florida Licensed Research Administrator will manage post-award administration for sponsored research activities, ensuring compliance with federal and university regulations while working onsite in Florida.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee financial management and compliance for sponsored research awards, including budget tracking and cost-sharing requirements
- Facilitate the entry and management of effort commitments and payroll allocations in relevant systems
- Assist faculty with proposal submissions, ensuring adherence to administrative requirements and accurate budget preparation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in grant and contract administration or equivalent combination of education and experience
- In-depth knowledge of federal regulations and university policies related to research funding
- Proficiency in using financial systems such as PeopleSoft and grant management tools like UFirst
- Experience with budget preparation and compliance documentation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines
