Job Summary
Providing individualized nursing care to cancer patients and their families, the part-time Florida Licensed Sarcoma RN Advisor will manage patient interactions over the phone, ensuring adherence to established guidelines and documenting care in the EHR while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Answer patient calls and assess urgent signs and symptoms while utilizing Moffitt Promise Guidelines
- Document nursing assessments and interventions accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide patient education and participate in evidence-based improvement activities related to oncology nursing
Required qualifications:
- BSN or ASN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with relevant experience
- Florida RN License
- BLS Certification
- At least 2 years of experience in Oncology and Sarcoma nursing
- OCN or ACON certification and call center experience preferred
