Job Summary

Providing individualized nursing care to cancer patients and their families, the full-time Florida Licensed Sarcoma RN Advisor will manage patient care over the phone, ensuring prompt assessment of urgent signs and symptoms while documenting interventions in the EHR in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Answer calls and assess patient issues using established guidelines and the nursing process
• Document nursing assessments and interventions accurately and in a timely manner
• Provide patient education and participate in evidence-based improvement activities

Required qualifications

• BSN or ASN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with relevant experience
• Florida RN License
• BLS Certification
• At least 2 years of experience in Oncology and Sarcoma as a Registered Nurse
• OCN or ACON certification and call center experience
