Job Summary

To support an innovative learning environment, the full-time salaried Florida Licensed Science Teacher will design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction while integrating immersive technology, including virtual reality, in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction using OptimaEd-approved curriculum and resources
• Monitor student progress and provide timely, meaningful feedback while being available for academic support from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m
• Demonstrate proficiency with instructional technology platforms, including VR tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a content-related field
• Valid state teaching certification or ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe
• Experience teaching in an online, blended, or technology-rich environment preferred
• Willingness to learn and implement immersive instructional practices, including VR
