Florida Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support financial management, the full-time Florida Licensed Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting functions, including preparing monthly journal entries, maintaining the purchasing card system, and assisting with annual audits in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Assist with the annual audit and prepare financial statements for management and the board
• Maintain the company purchasing card system and ensure accurate coding of transactions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience; MBA or CPA preferred
• Minimum of two years' accounting experience, preferably in healthcare
• Hands-on experience with general ledger and related subsystems
• Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
• Ability to work independently and exercise discretion and independent judgment
