Job Summary
To support financial operations, the full-time Florida Licensed Senior Accountant will substantiate financial transactions, create cash funding requests, and analyze financial data while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Audit documents for accuracy and compliance, ensuring proper financial transaction substantiation
- Reconcile urgent check accounts and approve financial transactions initiated outside of accounting
- Collaborate with various departments to enhance financial operations and provide guidance to leadership
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent degree
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of US GAAP accounting theory and healthcare-specific accounting principles
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger accounting
