Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Florida Licensed Senior Claims Adjuster will manage complex workers' compensation claims, utilizing decision-making skills to analyze claims exposure, ensure effective communication among involved parties, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex workers' compensation claims while documenting and communicating claim activity efficiently
- Interact extensively with clients and other parties to facilitate effective claim resolution and enhance the claims management process
- Ensure compliance with clients' and corporate policies, procedures, and statutory requirements while applying industry best practices
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 3 years of experience adjusting workers' compensation claims, including lost time/indemnity and litigation
- Active Adjusters' license for Florida or reciprocal state
- Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices
- Computer experience with claims and business software
