Florida Licensed Senior Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Managing the claims process for moderately complex commercial general liability construction defect cases, the full-time Florida Licensed Senior Claims Specialist will ensure timely and fair resolution while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve moderately complex claims in accordance with company guidelines and applicable laws
• Review policy coverage and determine exposure based on contract terms and legal precedents
• Negotiate fair and timely settlements with claimants, attorneys, and third-party representatives

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years of experience handling insurance claims within the property and casualty or specialty lines industry
• Experience interpreting policy language, coverage analysis, and managing claim negotiations
• State adjuster license where required or ability to obtain within specified timeframe
• Preferred industry designations such as AIC (Associate in Claims) or CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter)
