Florida Licensed Senior Claims Specialist
Job Summary
Seeking a Florida Licensed Senior Claims Specialist, the full-time remote position will manage complex commercial property claims, including business income and related coverage, while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure effective claim resolutions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end adjudication of complex commercial property claims, maintaining proactive communication with all stakeholders
- Perform advanced coverage and exposure analysis to validate coverage and set appropriate reserving strategies for significant losses
- Provide coaching and mentorship to junior claims professionals, contributing to the continuous improvement of claims processes and standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or at least 4 years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
- Adjuster licensing is required, with preference for Florida and/or Texas
- 3+ years of experience in adjusting complex commercial claims or 5+ years in residential property claims
- Foundational knowledge of commercial construction estimating and repair cost analysis
- Strong contractual analysis skills for coverage analysis and risk transfer obligations
