Florida Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel to manage complex litigation cases and provide leadership within the legal team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop compelling case themes and independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
• Communicate routinely with clients and cultivate relationships with existing and future clients
• Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys while working collaboratively within a team

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA approved school
• Active bar license in the State of Florida
• 8+ years of solid litigation experience, particularly in litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation
• Experience handling insurance defense matters preferred
• Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities with minimal supervision
