Florida Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel (Remote) to provide legal advice and representation in various legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on business transactions, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including contracts and pleadings
• Represent the organization in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• At least 5-10 years of legal experience, with prior in-house experience preferred
• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar or eligibility for in-house counsel registration
• Experience in nonprofit governance, privacy, litigation, or public records is desirable
• Demonstrated success in relevant job functions or projects can substitute for formal experience or education requirements
