Florida Licensed Senior Manager Accounting
Job Summary
To support a growing finance team, the full-time Florida Licensed Senior Manager Accounting will manage and mentor a team of accountants, oversee accounting for internally-developed software projects and fixed assets, and ensure compliance with accounting standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the accounting for IDSW projects, including capitalization assessments and cost tracking
- Manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets and ensure compliance with ASC 842 for operating and finance leases
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant
- 7-10 years of progressive relevant experience in public accounting or within a medium to large international organization
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, particularly ASC 350-40, ASC 360, and ASC 842
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP or OneStream, and familiarity with lease accounting tools
