Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Trial Attorney-Staff Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle automobile and premises liability and complex bodily injury litigation, including pre-trial, mediation, trial, and post-trial resolution
• Prepare and manage pleadings, motions, discovery, and depositions for effective representation of insureds
• Identify and promote settlement opportunities while coordinating case handling with the Claims Department

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of experience in automobile and premises liability and complex bodily injury litigation
• Juris Doctorate and admission to the Florida bar
• Jury trial experience
• Advanced knowledge of Florida Rules of Evidence and Rules of Civil Procedure
• Experience defending matters involving multiple parties
