Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter to assist in the acquisition and retention of profitable commercial lines customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in acquiring and retaining profitable commercial lines customers through sound underwriting principles
• Work with assigned agents to meet profitability and production goals while establishing business relationships
• Manage pricing and underwriting for an assigned territory of business

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; relevant work experience may substitute for education
• Four or more years of commercial property and casualty underwriting experience
• Advanced knowledge of property and casualty insurance forms and rating rules
• Advanced working knowledge of underwriting and loss control principles
