Florida Licensed Sleep Medicine Physician
Job Summary
To support the Veteran community, a Florida Licensed Sleep Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive care for sleep disorders in a full-time remote role, managing patient evaluations, treatment plans, and documentation in accordance with VHA guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive sleep disorders and related medical conditions, performing direct patient care as needed
- Evaluate patients, order appropriate testing, and monitor test results, discussing management plans with patients
- Document all patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR) within mandated timeframes
Required qualifications
- Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship
- Graduate of an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a U.S. state or territory
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties
