Florida Licensed Social Service Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Social Service Plus Specialist to assist health plan members in locating resources related to benefits and community social services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to calls from members requesting assistance with eligibility for benefits or access to social services
• Engage members in assessments to identify needs and eligibility for resources related to social determinants of health
• Research and provide options for community resources, assisting members in accessing identified services

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in a professional office and fast-paced environment
• 1+ year of experience in a Customer Service Center
• At least one year of social services or healthcare experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor of Social Work strongly preferred
• Strong computer and data entry skills
