Florida Licensed Social Work Supervisor

Job Summary

Supervising daily operations in discharge planning and social services, the full-time Florida Licensed Social Work Supervisor will manage care management strategies and facilitate multidisciplinary rounds while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee discharge planning and social services operations, serving as the primary contact for inpatient unit Care Management issues
• Implement corporate Care Management strategies in collaboration with facility management and monitor compliance with regulations
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and mentoring staff while addressing patient and staff complaints effectively

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) is required; Master's degree is preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in direct care management and 2 years of social work experience are required
• Knowledge of medical necessity and compliance guidelines related to Care Management is required
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple tasks effectively is required
• Accredited Case Manager (ACM) or Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification is preferred
