Florida Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Job Summary

To support students in a school-based setting, the full-time Florida Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant will provide virtual speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist from August to December 2026 during maternity leave coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP and document student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff as directed by the supervising SLP

Required qualifications

• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) license
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional remote workspace
• Ability to pass all required district background screenings
• Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills
