Florida Licensed Staff Accountant

Job Summary

Managing day-to-day accounting functions, the full-time Florida Licensed Staff Accountant will oversee fixed asset management, execute month-end close tasks, and prepare financial reports while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee fixed asset management operations, including depreciation and lease modifications
• Execute month-end close tasks and prepare detailed account reconciliations
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• CPA designation or active CPA candidacy preferred
• 2+ years of cumulative accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or with a publicly traded company
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables
• Experience in the service industry is a distinct plus
