Job Summary
Providing bookkeeping services for a diverse range of clients, the full-time Florida Licensed Staff Accountant will manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting remotely while ensuring high-quality service and oversight.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and process client payroll and payroll taxes, including W2s and 1099s
- Perform general accounting duties such as entering transactions and reconciling accounts
- Prepare and file sales tax returns for business clients
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Sage
- Experience with multi-state payroll
- Strong analytical skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
