Job Summary

To support surgical procedures, the full-time Florida Licensed Sterile Processing Tech will work onsite, demonstrating advanced knowledge of sterilization processes, collaborating with clinical staff, and mentoring team members while ensuring compliance with infection control standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with surgical staff to assess and troubleshoot sterilization processes for trauma and tertiary care procedures
• Lead the Sterile Processing team in the absence of management and conduct orientations for new team members
• Maintain records and monitor sterilization processes while ensuring compliance with infection control procedures

Required qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sterile Processing
• National certification through HSPA or CBSPD
• Ability to maintain required CEUs in accordance with certifying body
