Job Summary

To support advanced surgical procedures, the full-time Florida Licensed Sterile Processing Tech will manage sterilization processes, mentor team members, and ensure compliance with infection control standards in an onsite environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborates with surgical staff to assess and troubleshoot sterilization processes for trauma and tertiary care procedures
• Maintains high professional standards while overseeing the sterilization process and conducting quality control activities
• Leads the team in the absence of management and conducts orientation for new staff members

Required qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sterile processing
• National certification through HSPA or CBSPD
• Maintains required CEUs in accordance with certifying body
