Florida Licensed Substation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Leader - Substation to lead a team in overseeing substation engineering projects for renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Substation Project Engineers in executing engineering tasks from conception through construction and commissioning
• Coordinate with stakeholders to secure substation sites and manage engineering deliverables
• Support interconnection services and ensure compliance with transmission owner requirements and ISO standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 6+ years of relevant experience
• 0+ years of supervisory or management experience
• Preferred: Certified Professional Engineer (PE)
• Preferred: Six Sigma certifications (Black Belt, Green Belt, Master Black Belt) and/or a Master's degree
