Job Summary

A company is looking for a remote Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide virtual educational services to students with visual impairments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide virtual, school-based services to students who are blind or visually impaired
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Functional Vision Assessments (FVAs), and Learning Media Assessments (LMAs)
• Adapt instructional materials and utilize assistive technology for effective learning

Required Qualifications

• Active state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI); Florida certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting students with visual impairments in a school setting
• Experience in developing and implementing educational assessments
• Comfort with virtual instruction and digital collaboration tools
• Organized and passionate about making education accessible
