Job Summary
Delivering virtual care to patients navigating the 911/EMS system, the full-time Florida Licensed Telehealth Provider will assess patient needs, direct care, and collaborate with a diverse care team while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide virtual urgent care and secondary triage for patients, performing focused assessments and directing them to appropriate care
- Maintain availability and responsiveness during on-call hours, ensuring timely administrative responses and professional conduct
- Collaborate effectively with Navigators, nurses, and EM physicians to enhance patient care and escalate cases as needed
Required qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner (MSN/DNP, national certification as FNP, AGACNP, or ENP) or Physician Assistant (MPAS/equivalent, NCCPA certified)
- Minimum five years of post-training clinical practice, ideally with substantial experience in a high-acuity emergency department
- Active, unencumbered license in Florida, Texas, or Georgia, with willingness to obtain additional state licensure
- Active DEA registration
- Reliable access to internet bandwidth for video calls and a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace
