Job Summary

Reviewing and interpreting chains of title for mapped properties, the full-time Florida Licensed Title Examiner will prepare and issue preliminary reports while ensuring the accuracy of title documents in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Verify property and tax information for completeness and accuracy
• Review and interpret documents, maps, and instruments in the chain of title
• Identify defects, restrictions, or encumbrances on property titles and recommend corrective actions

Required qualifications

• 6-7 years of Title Industry experience, preferably in title examination
• Knowledge of real property computer database programs and title insurance practices
• Familiarity with real estate law and company policies related to preliminary reports
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency in locating techniques and legal descriptions used for real property
