Job Summary
Responsible for examining and abstracting public records, the full-time Florida Licensed Title Examiner will analyze title documents, identify issues, and provide professional title opinions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Search public records and examine titles for residential subdivisions and other properties
- Analyze various documents such as deeds and mortgages to determine title requirements
- Communicate title findings and requirements to managers and underwriters effectively
Required qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent, with specialized training in relevant software preferred
- Minimum of five years of title examination experience in Florida
- Intermediate knowledge of Florida probate and foreclosure processes
- Familiarity with title searching software such as DataTrace or TitlePoint
- Understanding of real estate law and title curative procedures
