Florida Licensed Triage Nurse

Job Summary

Providing essential support to patients, the full-time Remote Florida Licensed Triage Nurse will conduct initial assessments, triage symptoms, and determine appropriate care levels while working from North Fort Myers, FL.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to incoming calls and triage patient symptoms to assess care needs
• Document patient encounters in the Electronic Medical Record system in compliance with policies
• Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives to maintain nursing skills and knowledge

Required qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current Registered Nurse Multi State License
• Minimum of 5+ years of recent clinical experience in critical care, emergency, and/or telephonic triage
• Participation in continuing education programs
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
