Florida Licensed Triage Nurse

Job Summary

To support patient care in oncology, the full-time Florida Licensed Triage Nurse will provide individualized clinical guidance, triage patient calls, and manage complex patient care remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Triaging oncology patient calls regarding treatment, surgery, and appointment information while monitoring patient symptom management
• Managing high-risk, complex patient care to minimize emergency department visits and inpatient readmissions
• Facilitating communication among the multidisciplinary cancer care team to ensure coordinated patient care and optimal outcomes

Required qualifications:

• Registered Nurse multistate or Florida single state licensure required
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred
• Three or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least two years in oncology
• Strong telephonic assessment and communication skills
